SUPPLIES NEEDED: Anti-bacterial soap. For lip/Labret or Tongue piercings, an antiseptic mouthwash. A non-iodized  sea-salt can be used during the aftercare too.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash your hands. Using warm water and cotton swab,  remove any crusty matter from around the piercing area and jewelry. Next, lather up jewelry and piercing area with anti-bacterial soap, and move the jewelry back and forth, making sure you clean the inside of piecing. Finally rinse piercing thoroughly under running water, again moving the jewelry back and forth until all soap is gone. Pat piercing with dry cloth. Do not use rubbing alcohol, or any ointment on piercing. If you are to go into a pool, lake or hot tub, put a glob of anti-bacterial ointment around the piercing, to prevent any bacterial from getting in it.Was piercing when you wake up and before you go to bed.Do this for 6-8 weeks.

For lip/labret piercings: you should rinse your mouth with an antiseptic mouthwash  for 30 seconds each time you eat a big meal, after a soda or drink, after smoking, and once in the morning and before you go to bed. Wash the outside  of the piercing with an anti-bacterial soap in the morning and before you go to bed. Do this for 6-8 weeks.

Tongue Piercings: Rinse mouth 4-6 times a day, especially in the morning and before you go to bed. Most antiseptics need to be diluted with water. We advise you to get a bottle of water, pour half of it out, and fill it up with antiseptic rinse. This will be used for your healing.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Genital piercings usaually heal without complications, but problems arise from being too rough, too soon with the piercing. Make no oral contact with the piercing for about 3 months.
